
Tali Sinai received her B.Tech. degree in Biotechnology Engineering from ORT Braude College, Carmiel. She completed her Master’s Degree at the Ella Institute for Treatment and Research on Melanoma and Skin Center, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. Tali’s M.Sc. project dealt with the preclinical evaluation of adoptive cell therapy for patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma. She received her M.Sc. degree in Medical Sciences from the Department of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology, Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. Currently, Tali is a Ph.D. student in Prof. Haim Werner’s laboratory, with joint advisor Dr. Raanan Berger, Head of the Sheba Cancer Center and Institute of Oncology. Tali’s main field of interest is IGF-1R targeting in breast cancer. She is now working on the identification of BRCA1 as a biomarker for targeted therapy and on combined treatments using IGF-1R inhibitors along with conventional chemotherapeutic drugs.
