
Anya received her M.Sc. degree in Human Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. She carried out her M.Sc. research in the laboratory of Prof. Eitan Friedman, Oncogenetics Unit, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. Her work was aimed at elucidating the putative role of germline mutations in PALB2 and RAD51C genes to the burden of inherited breast and/or ovarian cancer in Jewish high risk population. Anya is currently studying toward her M.D. degree in the 4-year MD program, Sackler School of Medicine. Anya is working in our lab as a Research Associate. Her project is focused on trying to understand the role of the growth hormone-IGF1 axis in lifespan, longevity and aging processes.
